trifecta of millennials in the tragic scene of online dating. part IV

a friend of mine and i go to SF to visit Anna. we stay with her and her roommate for five days. the first day it rained so hard that we stayed in. it was an awkward weekend. Anna had been having a rough few days with her ex and school and moving and seemed to be emotional, overwhelmed. i gave her shit, mostly about her ex because that is something she can easily take care of. tough love doesn't work on her. the following day or so, Anna, her roommate, my friend, and i get dolled up, smelling good and head out to the castro to see what the night has in store for us. Anna had been on her phone clearly having some kind of millennial text rage with her ex. i can't recall why my friend and i strayed and ended up at the lexington club. Anna asked us to meet he at the corner. she came in through the curb with three girls, none of which i knew but one looked familiar. Anna introduced me to Victoria. Victoria is tall, very pretty, and seemingly nice. i also remember Anna telling me she was also a Libra, like Nicole. we went back to the lexington and danced and drank. Anna and Victoria seemed to have bonded, staying close to eachother most of the night. it is clear to me that Anna is interested in Victoria and there is a chance that she might be, too. we go to another bar and i ask one of Victoria's friends if she was still dating Enrique, the friend shrugs; i think nothing of it. afterall, she had been asking for coke the whole night and was visibly bored or upset or just over the whole night. in between bars we stop to eat hotdogs and she takes a bite out of mine, grabs my hand and then turns my arm around, lifts up the sleeve from my cardigan and starts looking at my tattoos and kissing my arms; she does the same but a much shorter version on Anna.

we end up at a diner at 3am that sells pupusas and will sell you beer after last call at a price but we were willing and we were ready. Anna and Victoria sat next to eachother. a guy with a guitar came in and sat next to Victoria. i was on the other side of the table so i couldn't hear what was happening with this guy and Victoria but i see them kissing. like, full on making out in the middle of this diner, at 3am with a guy that i am almost completely sure is homeless. i do not recall him wearing shoes. Anna seems to be upset about something and she gets up and goes toward the bathroom area. when she comes back, we're outside and waiting for her. she has her phone on her ear and seems to be fighting with person on the other end. we get in the car as she walks toward us and once inside, her roommate says that he thinks she's upset because she was trying to get with Victoria and Victoria ended up kissing some random dude. when she gets in the car, we notice she has been crying. we have a falling out after this.
